1. Those blue jeans are made from a sturdy cotton material known as Denim. You probably already knew this, but seriously DENIM isn't the name of a desighner, it's actually the name of a fabric. You're welcome.

3. Jeans were originally called ' waist overalls'. The term 'jeans' became popular in the 1960s after it was worn casually and not just by factory workers. Now even babys wear them, well what would we do without them jeans.

4. It takes over 900 gallons of water to make one pair of jeans. Thank God there's enough water in the world, else we might soon run out of jeans.

5. Jeans mostly come in Indigo because the manufacturers decided that it hides more dirt. well that explains a lot.
6. Half the jeans in the world are made in Asia. That's no surprise, we know who our chinese brethren are.

7. The most expensive pair of jeans in the world right now is the DUSSAULT APPAREL'S TRASHED DENIM JEANS which can be bought at €250,000. ERR..... cough cough... ok moving on.

8. Stretch denim is a type of denim that is used for skinny jeans. It is not made out of pure cotton but has elastic components.

9. Blue jeans became popular for the first time outside the U.S.A . Thanks to American soldiers in WW2 who wore jeans casually.
